The stovallhut NAS has support for letting users connect to each other's desktop.
To allow other users to connect to your desktop, connect to the VPN and then lauch your browswer to remote.stovallhut.online. Click on [Downloads] and then (64 bit) Windows EXE. Run the app that downloads. It should connect to the StovallHut Remotely server (https://remote.stovallhut.online) and show you a Session ID.
You'll see a window like that below. Now tell the other person the Session ID you see in the app or push the [Copy] button to put a invite-link on your clipboard.
When the user tries to connect to your desktop, the connection will be blocked till you answer the popup that shows on your desktop.
To invite connections with a simple Start menu choice in Windows do the following:
To connect to another user's desktop, connect to the VPN and login at remote.stovallhut.online. Click on [Remote Control]. Enter your name and the session id.
You can't connect till the remote user answers Yes to the allow-prompt they will now get.
The Remotely_Desktop.exe you downloaded might be out of date? Note that (at least) on 6/20/24 the client was changed and you must download a new one instead of run an old client on the [Start] menu.
