You can setup the login to the synology or any of its applications so you don't need to supply a password and can instead just supply a user name such as wmstoval. You're then prompted to approve the login at your phone. You can always choose other signin method and supply your password instead. You can also setup two-factor authentication, where you supply user name and password and also must authenticate thru another means such as your phone.
(note that this is a lot more useful if facial recognition unlocks your phone)
To set this up login at the stovallhut.online desktop and pick Personal in the upper right...
Scroll down to the Sign-in Method...
Pick passwordless or two-factor. The wizard will guide you thru the setup process including providing a QR code for installing the app on your phone and a second QR code for automating the connection to the NAS.
It should just all work...try it out.
